This study aims to provide a model for Sector coupling between renewable energy & hydrogen to reduce curtailment. How does CFI achieve sector coupling between renewable energy and hydrogen? Which scenario of energy mix would be cost effective? We argue that better governance, technology, economy of sector coupling. Our analysis show that sector coupling between RE and HE can be economically beneficial. Furthermore, we identify potential legal, technological, and economic obstacles to sector coupling. Lastly, we present Jeju island as a model case for RE & HE sector coupling.
